A course nominee must:
a. Be military or civilian assigned to, or selected for assignment to:
1. A NATO international headquarters, command or agency
2. Forces assigned or earmarked for assignment to NATO
3. A Ministry of Defence subordinate national military headquarters, unit or agency of a NATO country which fulfils responsibilities in support of ACO/ACT assigned or earmarked forces
b. Meet the NATO security clearance, language and formal requirements as outlined in the specific course description. (all NCISS courses are taught in English);
c. Meet the technical requirements as outlined at Background Knowledge in the specific course description.
d. Be nominated for selected courses or seminars open to military and civilian personnel from non-NATO countries as directed by Allied Command Transformation (ACT)
e. Attend the ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning) pre-study when required.
